POL, William ‘Bill’ – Of RR3, Stratford was taken by the Lord in his 82nd year, on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.

Beloved husband of Bertha Pol. Dear father of Aart Pol (Emmy), Tonette Renecker (Paul), Ivan Pol (Ann), James Pol (Linda), Connie Vandersleen (Rae), Gerald Pol (Linda), Lewis Pol (Linda), Wilma VanBeek (John), Alice Jongerden (Bert), Betty de Boer (Jelle) and Robert Pol (Tanya).

Loving grandfather of 45 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.

Dear brother of Betty Meinen, Jack Pol (Carla), Lewie Pol (Nellie), Els Pol and Wendy Pol-Baergen. Dear brother-in-law of Bertha DeJong, Gerda Pennings (Henk), Alice Doelman (Brian) and John Vandenbor (Allison). Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Aart and Neeltje Pol, brother Aart, grandson Jared Meinen and brother-in-law Henk Meinen.

Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell, Ontario on Thursday, October 15th from 2-4 and 6-8:30 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at Bethel Free Reformed Church, Mitchell on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Kranendonk officiating. Interment.

Memorial donations to Word and Deed Missions or Stratford General Hospital Dialysis Unit would be appreciated.
