SHERLOCK, William Henry  – 1924 – 2015 – Age 91 years

Passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2015.

Beloved husband and best friend of Patricia.

Loving father to Debbie (Dave), David (Angela), Linda (Brian), Wendy, Bill (Pina), Cathy (Doug). Proud grandfather of Rebecca, Matthew, Amy, Emily, Mark, Brandon, Ainsley, Stephanie, Melanie, Andrew, Mariska and Creighton.

Great-grandfather of Gavin, Gage, Nate, Eden, Mielle, Luke, and Reece. Born in Thunder Bay (Port Arthur), Bill married Pat Creighton, the love of his life.

Five children were born in Port Arthur and when they moved to Oakville they had their sixth child.

They resided in Oakville for 35 years. Longtime employee of the Toronto Telegram and also the Toronto Star, where he worked as a Printer in the composing room for 39 years and retired as a Foreman in 1987.

We are so thankful for his role in our lives as a loving father and grandparent.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Parkinson Society Canada would be greatly appreciated.

There will be a celebration of his life on Tuesday, December 29th from 2-4 p.m. at Chippewa Creek Golf Course in Mount Hope.
