WILLIAMS, Darleen Williams

Peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Ganigiiwe – Hospice, Darleen Williams passed away at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Fred “Fritz” Williams (2018). Loving mother of Kristal and chosen daughter/ granddaughter Kristen Nahmabin. Cherished grandmother of Dalton, Troy, Raven, Michaela, and great-grandmother of Samantha, Killian, and Casper. Deeply missed by chosen granddaughter Stephanie Williams. Missed by travelling seniors and survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Randall Wayne “Hoss” Nahmabin (2016), and by her siblings Carmen Wrightman (Jean), Gloria Williams (Preston), Melva “Oggie” Nahdee (Woodrow “Fuzz”), Twyla Wrightman, Fern (Marg) Wells, and Delmer Wrightman. Reunited with her best friend Mary Lou Williams. A special thank you to nephew Dallas Wells, the Aamjiwnaang Hospice and staff, and all the Vision Nursing Home staff for their love and support. Family and friends will be received at Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Centre, 1972 Virgil Ave., Sarnia, on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Centre on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Aamjiwnaang Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Aamjiwnaang First Nation – Ganigiiwe Hospice (cheques only at the funeral home please).
