Predeceased by his parents George and Edith (Nell) Willis and siblings Barrie (Joan) Willis, Diane (Peter) Chadbourne. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.A man of few words, it only takes a few words to describe Pat. Family, faith, and friends defined him. Honour, duty, and service are how he lived. Pat’s life of duty and service began as a young boy in North Bay, Ontario, delivering the Toronto Star door-to-door regardless of the weather. As a Boy Scout and later Scout Leader, he molded boys into men and rose to District Commissioner of Algoma, participating in the 1st Ontario Jamboree in 1968. It was in scouting that he met the love of his life, Lily Ferguson.

Pat joined Ontario Hydro straight out of high school, working across northern towns to keep power flowing 24/7 for over 38 years. He moved to Smiths Falls in 1968, where he served his community through St. John’s Anglican Church, Civitan, and numerous outreach efforts. An avid golfer, Pat helped found the Elliot Lake Golf and Country Club and was a long-time member of the Smiths Falls Golf and Country Club. His philosophy: “It never rains on a golf course!!”
