WILLOUGHBY, Cheryl Willoughby

Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love, on March 7^th, 2026.

Cheryl Irene Harris Morris Willoughby was the beloved wife of the late Christopher Willoughby and the former spouse of Glyn Morris. She was a devoted and deeply loved mother to Siân Gibson and Paul Morris, and a proud Nana to Jac Gibson (Mena) and Luke Gibson, who brought her endless joy.

She will be fondly remembered by her son-in-law David Gibson and by the Shaughnessy family—Allison (Michael), Andrew (Andrea), and Michael (Liz). Cheryl is also survived by her sister Linda Davies (Malcolm) of Gorseinon, South Wales, and by extended family and friends in both Canada and Wales.

Born in South Wales, Cheryl carried with her the warmth, humour, and resilience of her Welsh roots throughout her life. A woman of great faith; she had a generous spirit, a quick wit, and a deep love for her family. Her presence, laughter, and strong heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 14^th, 2026 at Wesley United Church (2066 16th Line, Lakefield, ON), with reception and interment to follow.

As per the family’s wishes, guests are invited to wear purple in honour of Cheryl. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wesley United Church by calling 705-652-3355 or by visiting www.hendrenfuneralhome.com.
