WILSON, Margaret Shirley Wilson

On December 4th, our beloved mother went to her eternal home, reunited with the love of her life. At 93, she stepped into the presence of Jesus—free from pain and sorrow—finally experiencing the fullness of the faith she cherished so deeply. Though we will miss her, we hold the blessed hope of being together again.

Predeceased by her devoted husband of 72 years, Earl Wilson, and her son-in-law Karl, she leaves behind her children George and Beth, Christine, Ruth and Roger; ten amazing grandchildren Jody, Joel, Bob (Elishavah), Jim (Emma), Aimee (Sean), Aaron (Jacqueline), Christen (Craig), Matthew (Jessica), Joshua and Ethan.; and twenty beautiful great-grandchildren Emma, Eden, Judah, Dillon, Mackenzie, Eliana, Mercy, Edwin, Ezra, Liam, Atirah, Lila, Eliyah, Madison, Malachi, Amos, Jaxon, Bennett, Lincoln & Brooks—each one shaped by her love, faith, and prayers.

Faith and family were her greatest joys. Her kindness and compassion reached far beyond our home, quietly touching countless lives. She will be remembered for her radiant smile, gentle humility, gracious spirit, and unconditional love—beautiful reflections of her faith. Her favourite Bible passage was Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.” We celebrate her life with gratitude, honor her legacy with love, and rest in the hope of a joyful reunion in the presence of the Lord she adored.

Our heartfelt thanks to the compassionate caregivers at Eastholme Home for the Aged for their kindness, respect, and dedication to her over this past year.
