WILSON, Mary Sheila Wilson

Peacefully passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, December 4, 2025 in her 86th year.

Graduate of St Joseph’s School of Nursing Peterborough, class of 1961.

Predeceased by her husband Jack, son Chris, daughter-in-law Brenda (McCarron), mother Audrey Gogerty, father Michael Gogerty, mother-in-law Hattie Wilson and father-in-law Virtle Wilson. Most amazing mother of Michelle Peters (Rev. Brad). Stupendous Grandma to Taylor Wilson (John) and Dale Wilson. Phenomenal Gerwaa to Ceilidh Peters (Matthew) and Noah Peters. She was the best Dog Mom to Cinnamon, Grand Dog Mom to Smokey, Ace, and Nilla, and Dog Mom-In-Law to Precious. Best friend of Marlene Sheehan since 1943.

Visitation will be held at the NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville, on Monday December 8, 2025 from 11am – 12pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel immediately after visitation. Private family interment at St. George’s Cemetery, Newcastle at a later date. Memorial Donations can be made to Scott Mission Toronto, or Women’s College Hospital Toronto.
