WINTER, Jim Winter

Winter: Jim, a resident of Botany, passed away peacefully at the London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus, London on Thursday June 19, 2025 at the age of 74. Born in Howard Twp., son of the Late Lyle and Verda (Brisley) Winter. Jim farmed all his life in Botany, and spent many days and nights, farming the fields, hauling tomatoes and plowing the local roads in the winter.

He was a fifty year Mason, a member of Kent Lodge #247 A.F. & A.M., Blenheim and formerly a member of the Tecumseh/Sydenham Lodge, Thamesville. Loving father of Shawn and Andrea Winter, Sarah Winter and Daryn Lacouciere, Susan and Jeff Simpson. Proud Grandpa of Aiden, Alicia, Kelton, Teagan, Ally, Brooklyn, and Case. Also survived by nephew Rob Hart. Predeceased by his sister Betty Hart.

The Winter family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home on Monday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A Masonic Lodge Service will be held at 5:45 PM. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Interment Botany Cemetery.
