COSTELLO, Woodrow ‘Woody’ – Peacefully on December 27, 2015 at GNGH at the age of 50, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Natalie Barton. Dearly cherished and proud father of Joseph. Devoted son of Woodrow and Margaret Costello of Bay Roberts, Newfoundland. Dear brother of Lisa (Loris) of Toronto.

Woody will be sadly missed by his niece Samantha (Jeremy) and nephews Justin and Marco, great nieces Lorelai and Layla and great nephew William.

Dear Son in law of Jenny Barton Niagara Falls and Tony Barton Edmonton, and brother in law of Matthew (Marie) Brampton. Survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins in Toronto and Newfoundland.

Woody loved the Toronto Maple Leafs and watching his son play hockey and soccer. He looked forward to his trips down south and dinner and fun at the casino. He cherished the friendship of his oldest friend Axel Thumm of Toronto and of Mark and Mary DiBiasi of Niagara Falls.

Woody was a great lover of animals offering shelter and love to many strays and nursing wild critters back to health. He will be sadly missed by his special little friends Molly and Rosie.

Funeral arrangements are pending in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland. In memory of Woody, donations to the Niagara Falls Humane Society would be appreciated.
