WOODSIDE, William Boyce “Buddy” Woodside

With deep love and sadness, the family of William Boyce “Buddy” Woodside announces his passing peacefully at Cornwall Community Hospital on July 20, 2025.

Beloved husband of Karen (nee Hillis). Proud father of William Woodside (Jennifer), Keri-Lyn Lamarche (Dan), and Jason Woodside (Bonnie). Buddy will be sadly missed by his 4 grandchildren Brooklyn, Brant (Ceilidh), Sierra, and Keaton (Brianna).

Cherished brother of Robert Woodside (Dale). He was predeceased by his parents Wilfrid and Charlotte Woodside (nee Boyce), his sister Anne Collins (Roy), and his son Chad. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Friday, July 25th from 6–9 pm. A Celebration of Buddy’s life will be held at Chalmer’s United Church, 2 Minto Street in Finch on Saturday, July 26th at 11 am, followed by interment at Memorial Hill Cemetery in Lunenburg. A luncheon will follow the interment at the Royal Canadian Legion in Long Sault.

Donations to Chalmer’s United Church would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
