WRAY, William John Wray

With heavy hearts, the family of Bill Wray announce his peaceful passing on July 27, 2025, one week short of his 90th birthday. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, Bill worked for Bell Canada for 37 years.

Bill was the beloved husband of Shirley with whom he shared 67 beautiful years of marriage filled with love, laughter and devotion. Bill leaves a legacy through his children Ken (Linda), Pat (Mike) and David (Tracy).

He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Alison, Kurtis, Connor, Ashleigh, Taylor and great grandfather to Savannah, Hudson, Madison, Auston and another great grandson on the way. Will be remembered by his brother-in-law Jack Barnard and many long time cherished friends. He is predeceased by his sister-in-law Audrey Barnard, Margaret Turner and brother-in-law David Turner. Bill will be remembered for his unconditional love and strong faith and longtime member of Harmony Road Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on July 31st, from 11:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Burial will take place at Mount Lawn.
