WRIGHT, Terry Wright

Suddenly at his home on Saturday February 14, 2026 at the age of 67. Cherished husband of Michelle Schinkel for 24 years. Dear Dad of Carrie Wright (Kevin Smith ) and step-dad of Scott Bates (Hunter). Proud and loving Grumpa of Lainey.

Predeceased by his daughter Stephanie,  parents Reggie Wright and Sonja (nee Fleming) and his brother Timothy (late Linda ). Dear brother of Robert (Bonnie), Constance (Richard Collins). Terry will be fondly remembered by his mother in law Rose Schinkel (late Jack), his brothers in law Roger (Judy), Dan (Donna) and his many nieces and nephews.

Terry was larger than life and had a vibrant personality. His mission wasn’t complete if he didn’t have you laughing by the end of your visit with him. He was a man who through the face of tragedy and illness had a very positive outlook on life. He will be greatly missed,

A private visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S Renfrew. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Hillcrest Cemetery, Calabogie. In memory of Terry donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
