WYLIE, Mary Ellen June Rose Wylie

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Ellen June Rose Wylie (née McLaren) at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday, October 9th, 2025 at the age of 101 years. Beloved wife of the late George Taillefer and the late John Wylie. Loving mother of Geoge Taillefer (Joan), Robert Taillefer and the late Richard Taillefer. Cherished grandmother of David (Sherry) and Craig (Valerie) and great-grandmother of Yvette, Emma (Justin) and Amy. She is predeceased by her parents Peter and Hannah McLaren (née Fisher) and by 7 siblings.

June’s family warmly invites all family and friends to gather for a time of visitation and remembrance at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888) on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A chapel service will take place on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025 in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
