ZANATTA, Reginald “Reg” Angelo Zanatta
July 4, 1942 - April 3, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Reginald “Reg” Zanatta on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the age of 82.
Reg is lovingly remembered by his wife of over 60 years, Evelyn Zanatta. He was the proud father of Kerri Zanatta-Buehler (Dave) and Jodi Cross (Brent), cherished “Poppy” to Sydney, grandfather to Ashley, and great-grandfather to Sammy, Bradley, Avery, and Sophie. He is also survived by his brother Lindo (Tat) and predeceased by his brother Danillo (Jack). Reg leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Born in Milton, Ontario, Reg spent his youth in Milton Heights and later lived in town with his wife. He fondly recalled his younger days spent playing hockey, camping at Sauble Beach, and traveling across Canada, the U.S., and abroad with Evelyn.
Reg loved dancing, billiards, cards, and classic car shows—especially with his beloved 1968 Camaro. He was also a devoted music lover and had a passion for travel, which took him on river cruises across Europe, scenic train rides across Canada, and warm vacations in Bermuda and the Caribbean.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 136 (21 Charles Street, Milton) on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In honour of Reg’s memory, donations may be made to the Milton District Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
