ZOLA, Edward John “Eddy” Zola

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Edward “Eddy” John Zola on Thursday, December 18, 2025. Beloved husband of Rebecca Zola (née Thompson), his fur baby Emma. Loving father of Jasmine (Jimmy) and Justin. Proud grandfather of Abiola and Adelola. Brother of Emile Zola (Sandy). Dear friend and cousins of Debbie (Joe), Dawn and Derek (Jessica).

Eddy will be missed by his in-laws Sandra Gravelle (Ron), Brenda Fuller (Ben) and his nephews Nathan Fuller, Nicolas Dutrisac and Scotty Dutrisac (Hannah).
Predeceased by his parents Alex & Mary Zola (née Sivec).

Eddy will forever be remembered as a bright light who has touched many with his kindness and heartfelt laughter.

Cremation has taken place. Rebecca’s family warmly invites all family and friends to gather for a time of visitation and remembrance, from 2:00-4:00 PM, on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). Private interment at Notre-Dame Cimetière, Cornwall next spring.

As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, SPCA or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
