Clifford Noel Joseph Zubernick, 85, passed away peacefully at the Tech Pioneer Residence in Kirkland Lake on December 21, 2024. He was predeceased by his wife, Aline Zubernick, to whom he was married for 45 years, and his stepson Jr. Herb Boudreau.

Clifford was a long-time resident of Kirkland Lake where he worked as a heavy equipment operator at Adams Mine and later as a taxi driver following his retirement. He loved gardening, blueberry picking, and watching his beloved Maple Leafs.

He will be greatly missed by his stepdaughters, Nancy Boudreau and Belinda (Stan) Downey, his grandchildren Shawn Lachapelle (Ali) and Melissa Lee (Mike), and six great-grandchildren (Kohen, Avah, Makenzee, Kael, Teo, Emre).

As per his last wishes, cremation has taken place. The burial will occur in Holtyre in the Spring.
