Lorraine Zylstra went home to her Lord on June 15, 2025, at the age of 57, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Devoted wife to Dennis W. Zylstra. Cherished mum to Fabiana and her beloved dog Max of Dutton, and Alejandro (Nicole) and their daughters Aurora, Zara, and Rayna of Tilbury. Loving stepmother to Naomi (Brad), Judy (Rick), and Chelsea (Jonathan), and their children in Puslinch, Newmarket, and Ottawa respectively.

Lorraine was a treasured sister to Katrina (Richard), Annette, and Simon (Jenny) and their families in England. She moved from Sheffield to Toronto in 1986 as a nanny, later becoming a Canadian citizen. She settled in Kitchener and later moved to a farm near Dutton in 2007 with her husband and children.

Visitation will be held at Arn Funeral Home, 193 Shackleton St., Dutton, on Monday, June 23, 2025 from 2–4 PM and 6–8 PM. The funeral service will follow on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home, with time reserved for eulogies.
