EVERATT, Ross Gordon  -  Of Burnt River, previously of Peterborough, entered into rest on Friday, December 31, 2021, at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay.

He leaves behind his loving companion and partner Audrey Dudman.

Loving father of Gary, his daughter-in-law Marilyn and his much-loved granddaughter Adannah.

Survived by his sister Doris Garrison, niece Karen Guerette, nephew Mike Garrison.

And son Paul. He was predeceased by his much-loved wife of 24 years, May Everatt (nee Irwin) (1982)h, is parents Gordon (1989) and Elsie (1983) Everatt, his sister Hazel, his brother-in-law Russell Garrison and niece Sandra.

Ross was born and lived in Toronto.

He enrolled in the Airborn Unit of the Canadian Air Force as a paratrooper and trained in Camp Shilo Base, Manitoba. Following the war, Ross started his long career as a commercial artist with Pringle and Booth. He continued as a commercial artist working for Templeton's Studios (TDF) then freelancing in Toronto and after retirement in Peterborough.

Ross was a member of Lakefield Art Group and Kawartha Art Group, where he excelled in his art and in particular portraits.

Ross was an avid golfer, hockey player and loved dancing and travelling each year with his partner.

Cremation has taken place. A service will take place in the spring with interment in Scarborough, ON.
