ANDERSON, James McDonald (Don)   -  Don departed this life on January 6, 2022, at his home in Alliston, Ontario, in his 87th year.

Don was born on July 3, 1935, the second child of Clarence Anderson and Eldred McDonald.

He had happy memories of growing up at the family farmhouse near Terra Cotta.

In 1962, Don was married to Marlene Hamilton of Orangeville.

After living in Toronto, they moved to Nobleton and later to Alliston.

For 51 years, Don and Marlene enjoyed time at Bass Lake in Muskoka.

Don is survived by his wife, Marlene, by their daughter, Caron (Mark Langman) of Barrie, Ontario, and by their son Kevin (Michelle Crowder) of Lashburn, Saskatchewan. Don's cherished grandchildren are: Caron's family – Brooke, Jaclyn (Jonathan), Andrew (Dean), and Kevin's family – Terry, Jacob (Shaylee), and Sarah (Brayden). Don's great-grandchildren are Karliah, Owen, Emerson, and Cayden.

Don is also survived by his siblings, Raymond Anderson (Norma), Jean Carberry (Clare), and David Anderson (Joyce).

A visitation was held at Basci Funerals & Crematin Choices in Barrie, on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes will take place in Orangeville, Ontario.
