Pelletier DonladPELLETIER, Donald "Don" Joseph Kelly   -  October 29, 1947 – January 7, 2022

(74 Years) It is with deep love and sadness that the family of Don Pelletier of Springbrook, ON, announces his passing on January 7, 2022, at the Heart of Hastings Hospice in Madoc.

Don passed peacefully after a courageous 18-month battle with cancer, surrounded by family at his side.

Don was born in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, to parents Elisabeth and Valmond Pelletier (both predeceased).

Don is survived by his only child Chantel (Scott), Fran, and siblings John (Penny), Guy, Jackie, Pauline (Archie). Nieces and nephews Lisa (Rob), Sherry (Mark), Jonathan, and Jordan.

Also Fran's sister June (Jack) Lambert and children Annette, and Lorne (Tracy).

Plus, a whole slew of friends and extended family that Don adored spending time with.

Don was a proud steamfitter and 55-year member of Local 46. Always actively pursued both lifelong continuous learning, and shared teachings of his many talents.

Don had many passions including restoring his custom cars - '34 Plymouth Coupe, 1949 Chevy Truck and 1953 Chevy Truck. 

Cremation has been arranged with support of Quinte Cremation in Belleville.  A celebration of life will take place later.

Memorial donations can be made to - Canadian Cancer Society or Heart of Hastings Hospice, Madoc.

We would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the most amazing team of ladies at Heart of Hastings Hospice, your compassion and care for Don and our family and friends who visited is beyond words.

Exceptional compassionate care was also received throughout our journey from Dr. Needa Jayabalan, Aaron and Peterborough Cancer Care team, Dr. Melissa Holowaty pallative team as well as home care VON nurses team of Donna, Lindsay and Anita, the wonderful staff at Nickles Pharmacy, plus all the friends and family who have supported Don and us throughout his long journey with cancer, we are so blessed.
