Wilkins PeterWILKINS, Peter James   -  Retired Long Time Employee of Bank of Montreal "Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end, they simply mean I'll miss you, until we meet again" Peter passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, at home, Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in his 85th year.

He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Phyllis Darling, his beloved children Scott (Linda Dohmeier) and Kelly Shannon (Jeff) along with their mother Carol Birch. He also leaves his much-loved grandchildren, Emily Jundzis, Remy and Dominik Wilkins along with Quinn Dohmeier.

Also left to mourn is Phyllis' son Troy Whitfield (Francesca Massi) and Luca Whitfield to whom he was Gramp Peter.

Peter was born in Toronto May 4, 1937 to Dr. A. Ralph and Dorothy Eden Wilkins (Walker).

He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Barbara (2013) and her husband Bill Dibden (2021).

After a lifetime career with the Bank of Montreal, Peter retired from the post of Senior Manager, Special Accounts Management Unit (SAMU) in 1999.

After their retirement, he and Phyllis enjoyed many wonderful vacations to Vancouver Island, several parts of the US and loved the winters spent at Fort Myers Beach where they made many lifelong friends.

Due to constraints of COVID, there will be no service.

Peter has been cremated and will be interred in Peterborough at a later time.

A special thank you to the nurses of St. Elizabeth Health Care, particularly Keitha and Emmanuel.
