GIFFEN, Robert Dean - September 4, 1936 – May 3, 2022
Dean passed away peacefully, on May 3, 2022, in his 85th year.
Survived by his wife Jacqueline Robinson, former husband of Mary Needham, mother of their children, and brother of Shirley Gowland.
Dean was the immensely proud father of his 3 children, Deanna (Don Hastie), Eric (Joyce Marshall) and Darrin.
Beloved Papa to Jessica, Sean and Erin Hastie.
Dean was a dedicated teacher and principal with the Etobicoke Board of Education. He was an avid skier and enjoyed many family ski trips in Canada and the USA.
Dean was always willing to offer support and valued his relationships with his many lifelong friends. He will be always remembered and dearly missed.
There will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place. A service will be held for immediate family at the Brampton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
