JANES, Joan Edna (nee VENNER) - 1925 - 2022 Passed peacefully at home, May 6, 2022, at the age of 97. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd Janes.
Joan is survived by her children Valerie (Gary) and Trevor (Belinda).
Loving grandma to Andrew (Sara), Scott (Ashley), Erin (Rob), Spencer (Erika), and Steven (Sarah).
Proud great-grandma to Brady, Hadley, Evaleigh, Ayla, and Ryley.
She is survived by her brother Jake (Shirley) Venner, predeceased by Jim, Roy and Howard.
A lifelong Lakeshore resident, Joan loved being a grandma and great-grandma and was an avid sports fan.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will take place at the Ridley Funeral Home, Wednesday, May 11th, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, followed by a Service in the Chapel at 12:00 noon. Interment following the service.
