KOREVAAR, Jacob - With deep sadness, but with thanksgiving to the Lord, Jacob Korevaar was called peacefully to his heavenly home on May 8, 2022, in his 89th year.
Widower of his dear wife, Helena Maria Korevaar, of 61 years on February 5, 2021.
Loving Dad of Jane Korevaar, Evelyn and Jonathan Cooper, Wilma and Dominic Marchese, Peter Korevaar (late) and Jennifer McLean, Andrew Korevaar and Michelle McCartney-Sneath, Jake Korevaar, Andrea and Bob Sherbo (late), Corry Korevaar, Arnie and Sandra Korevaar and Mark Korevaar.
Proud Opa of 28 grandchildren and cherished Great-Opa of 14 great-grandchildren.
Kindly remembered by his sisters, brothers, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held at Adam's Funeral Home 445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie, on Thursday, May 12th, from 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Heritage Baptist Church, 79 Ardagh Road, Barrie on Friday, May 13th, at 1 p.m., with visitation prior to from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Then a reception will take place followed by the interment in Cookstown.
