LAWSON, Edward - Passed away peacefully, at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario, on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at the age of 100.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 61 years, Shirley (nee Nichols).
Ed was a loving father to Shirley Ann (Wayne), Pat (Harry), Jim (Pat) and Ed (Bev).
Papa/Grampy will be greatly missed by his grandchildren (12), great-grandchildren (14) and many nieces and nephews.
Ed was a decorated WWII Veteran who proudly served his country overseas from 1941-1945.
The family sincerely thanks Toni and the staff at Lakeside Retirement, Shannon (St. Elizabeth Health Care Barrie) and Nurse Manager, Julie, at RVH for all their care and support.
A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
