REDMON, Winnifred "Winnie" Marie (nee UPSHAW) - Winnie passed quietly and peacefully, in her sleep, surrounded by family, on June 14, 2022, during the strawberry full moon.
Born on September 4, 1928, in Three Mile Plains, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Winnie has followed her beloved husband of 71 years in death, Freemon Redmon, and her siblings, Arnold Upshaw and Maxine Upshaw.
Loving mother to her seven children, Brenda Ferguson (Bruce), Eric Redmon, Bernard Redmon, Stephen Redmon (Karen), Kathleen Petrie (Bill), Leasanne Redmon and Tara Reyes-Boyce (Peter).
Loving grandmother of her 14 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 23rd, from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge St., North York. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 24th, at 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Burial to follow in North York. Reception to follow at Forest Grove United Church, 43 Forest Grove Drive, North York.
