CLARKE, Kathryn Marie (nee MacNEVIN)   -  1936 - 2022  Formerly of New Waterford, Cape Breton, N.S.

Loving wife to the late Aubrey Clarke, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, and aunt; longtime United Church member 'Kaye' passed peacefully into God's hands on June 13, 2022, at St. Joseph's Health Centre at the age of 86.

She was predeceased by her parents, the late Archie and Beatrice (Pettigrew) MacNevin, brother Alcorn, and sister Emma. She is survived by her sister Jeannette White (Tom), son James (Heather Margerison), son Andrew (Maise Miller), and daughter Heather.

Kaye was 'Granny' to Kari (Kevin), Darcy (Alison), Kevin and Ryan, 'GG' to great-grandchildren Cohen, and Elle, 'Aunt Kathryn/Katna' to nieces and nephews, good neighbour and friend to many in the New Toronto area over the years.

A "celebration of her life" will take place at Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd., West in the Chapel on Monday, June 27th at 6 p.m., with a reception to follow. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kaye's name to the Salvation Army or Alderwood United Church.

With Kaye's passing 'the fabric of New Toronto is changed' for our family, and for those of you who were close to her.

She leaves her family, closest neighbours and friends, strengthened with her love and example, and she will be forever in our hearts.
