SKENE, David John - Peacefully, at Trillium Hospital in Mississauga, on July 26, 2022.
David was the son of the late David and Jean Skene from Aberdeen, Scotland.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bernadette ("Berne"). He was the loving father of David (Alicja) and Gary (Julie).
He loved when his grandchildren, Adriana, Samantha, Matthew, Siobhan, Kyleigh, Trisha, Jessica, and Isobella, visited. Some of his fondest memories were of the times he got to spend with Berne's large family.
David enjoyed a long and very successful career as a senior human resources executive in the financial services industry. He was a huge sports fan, and loved to watch his favourite teams.
We are all sorry he didn't get to see his beloved Maple Leafs win another Stanley Cup, but happy he got to see the Toronto Blue Jays win two World Series.

Cremation has taken place, and will be followed by a private family service at a later date and interment in Etobicoke.
