GRIFFITHS, John "Griff" Paul - Peacefully, on Friday, August 5, 2022, in Mississauga, Ontario, at the age of 67.
Beloved son of Willimin Griffiths (nee Carrey).
Cherished brother of Naomi Stephens and Lynn Murray, and brother-in-law to Gayle Griffiths. Incredible uncle to many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Predeceased by his father, P.G. (Bill) Griffiths and his brother, P.G. (Gerry) Griffiths, Jr. and brother-in-law, Bill Stephens.
John was involved in the Alderwood Softball Association for more than 20 years, holding various executive positions, including President and Commissioner.
The family extends a special thanks to Deborah-Rae Lalonde and Andrew Lalonde-Welby.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16th, from 7-9 p.m. at Cavill Funeral Home, 215 Bay Street, Gravenhurst. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 17th, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 235 John Street, Gravenhurst, a Reception will follow in the church hall. Interment of cremated remains: Mickle Cemetery, Gravenhurst.
Donations to Sick Kids Hospital, in memory of John, would be appreciated by the family.
