BISCOTTI, Berthe (Betsy) Alberta (nee ROUSSELLE)   -  It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betsy, in her 86th year, on September 24, 2022.

She died peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer, surrounded by her devoted and loving husband of 66 years, Michael Biscotti and her daughters Mary Lynn Biscotti, Diane Ross (Gordon) and Lisa Pietras (Greg).

Betsy will be sorely missed by her grandchildren: Melissa Catenacci-Liebowitz (Heston), Michael Ross (Jolayne), Lauren Catenacci-Francois (Alex), Brian Ross (Fran), Christopher Pietras (Samantha Fisk), Lucas Pietras and Zachary Pietras; and her great-grandchildren Hayes and Ada Liebowitz, Gina and Abagail Ross, Henry and George Ross and Malikai Francois.

Betsy was predeceased by her sister Joyce Descent and survived by her two sisters Shirley Reith (Montreal) and Jeanne Marleau (Barrie) and her many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.

The funeral service will take place at Assumption Cemetary's Catholic Cremation Centre (6693 Tomken Road, Mississauga Ontario), on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Visitation is from 12:00-1:00 followed by a chapel service and entombment at 1:00. Reception will follow at the Catholic Cremation Centre from 2:00-4:00.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hospice Wellington (795 Scottsdale Drive, Guelph, ON) would be greatly appreciated (https://www.hospicewellington.org/).

Our family would like to extend heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Cambridge Palliative Care team who supported Betsy and allowed Michael to care for her at home these past 11 months and to Hospice Wellington for the exceptional care they took of Betsy and our family in her final days.

Betsy was a devout Catholic who lived a full and truly blessed life, and she will be deeply missed.
