Daughter of the late Georgina "Nany" Smith. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Barclay.
Patient, loving, beautiful, witty and sweet mother of Charlene (Brian), Richard (Arlene), Jennifer (Rodney) and Larissa (Paul).
Cherished grandma of Jeremy (Katie), Alicia (Michael), Chantelle (Lloyd), Melissa (Allan), Shannon (Maddison), Brennan (Patricia), Shae (Julia) and Sammy.
Adored great-grandmother of Mason, Londyn, Preston, Aubree, Charlotte, Paige, Emilia, Ritchie, Benjamin, Emmett, Brooke and Everett. Doreen is also survived by her brother, Gary T. Smith (Dory); and her sister, Georgia.
Doreen will also be missed by her many extended family, friends and all who were welcomed as part of her family. She was predeceased by the father of her children, Gordon Perry.
The family have arranged a drop in gathering to celebrate Doreen's full and wonderful life at the Tweed Agricultural Building, 617 Louisa Street, Tweed, on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Cremation.
The family extend their heartfelt gratitude to Doreen's many caregivers.
