WEBSTER, Jean Elizabeth (Liz) (nee Ross) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Elizabeth Webster on Tuesday, September 27, 2002, in Oakville, at the age of 82.
Beloved wife of George Webster. Loving mother of Laura and Jennifer (Doug).
Dear sister of David Lennox (Phyllis) and Bill Lennox (Marian).
Fondly remembered by her many cousins, nieces and nephews. Liz was predeceased by her parents, James and Elizabeth Jean Lennox. Liz grew up in Sarnia.
She earned her R.N. at Victoria Hospital, London, and a B.A. at McMaster University, Hamilton.
In her nursing career, she worked at Victoria Hospital, Wingham Hospital, and Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in obstetrics.
In retirement, Liz and George travelled extensively, visiting five continents.
A private cremation will be held. A celebration of her life will take place at the Monte Carlo Inn in Oakville, on Saturday, October 22nd, at 2:00 p.m.
