JENSEN, Lois M.   -  It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lois Madeline Jensen (nee McLay), on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at the Stedman Hospice, in Brantford.

Lois was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Dean Jensen; and will be greatly missed by her son, David Dean and daughter-in-law, Debora, to whom she was a sincerely loving and devoted mother.

Lois was also a very proud grandmother to Kurtiss Dean Jensen, who she loved immensely.

Lois was born in Kenora, Ontario, on July 7, 1939, and was the cherished daughter of Lynda and David McLay. She was a hardworking, honest, sharp-minded and classy lady.

A true leader by example, never expecting more from others than she was willing to do herself. Often times, she was known to go way over and above the capacity of others, for the "WOW" factor in everything she accomplished.

Lois was a huge advocate of family gatherings, along with hosting and entertaining, that included lots of home cooking and fresh baking. Her quick-witted humour was always enjoyed by her teammates, along with everyone she crossed paths with.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12-2 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at the Dominion Telegraph Event Centre (diagonal to the Arlington Hotel above the Piper and Oak Store), 97 Grand River Street North, Paris, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stedman Hospice at www.sjlc.ca.
