Goebel ChrisaGOEBEL, Chrisa Leigh (nee MALLINOS)   -  Our family is filled with a profound sadness in announcing the passing of our beloved Chrisa Goebel, at the young age of 60, after a valiantly fought battle with an unrelenting foe.

She is survived by her husband, Gavin; her two sons, Braedon and Connor; her mother, Mey; brother, Bill. Predeceased by her father, Mike.

Chrisa was fiercely devoted to her boys and her family, and was a great friend to many.

She was kind, generous, giving, and had a terrific zest for life and love, to go with a wicked sense of humor. Her life-long dedication to a nursing career embodied her desire to help and care for others.

Above all else, Chrisa loved to travel with her family and these trips always included searching for the best bling. She loved her sparkle as it matched her bright personality.

Countless memories were created on our adventures together which we will forever cherish. Words cannot adequately describe the incredible wife, mother, and friend she was, but anyone who had the pleasure of having Chrisa in their life knows the special person we have lost.

Visitors are welcome to join the family at Highland Funeral Home, Markham Chapel, 10 Cachet Woods Court, Markham, on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 2 - 4 p.m. and from 6 - 8 p.m. A funeral will be held the following day in the chapel at 11 a.m., with burial immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Chrisa to Princess Margaret Hospital with appreciation from the family.
