Pelley PhyllisPELLEY, Phyllis   - 1929 - 2022  Phyllis passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in Oakville.

Phyllis was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter, who were happily married and totally devoted to each other for over 64 years, setting a wonderful example to us all.

Phyllis was the proud mother of Lynn Craig (Al), Gail Pelley (Phil) and Keith Pelley (Joan); devoted Nana to Alison, Tamara (Shawn), Becky, Kristy Leigh (Locke), Lucas (Meaghan), Kendra (Jeffrey), Jason and Hope.

Phyllis was also blessed by her great-grandchildren, Alexander, Landon, Paige, Paxton, Cohen, Isla, Cannon, Eleanor and Lennon.

Phyllis will be missed by her sister, Audrey Sixt; and her many nieces and nephews.

Those who knew Phyllis will remember a graceful woman with a strong faith and fierce loyalty to her family and friends.

Phyllis had an engaging smile, infectious laugh and superb sense of style.

Although Phyllis held herself to high standards and expected no less of others, she tempered everything with sincerity and love.

She would say her greatest legacy is her family of whom she was wildly supportive and tremendously proud.

The Pelley family offers thanks to the staff of Parkland on the Glen, where Phyllis and Walter enjoyed many happy years.

And also their gratitude and thankfulness to the considerate staff at Post Inn Village, for the wonderful care they offered to Phyllis during her short stay with them.

"O Lord, support us all the days of our long, full life
Until the shadows lengthen and evening comes,
The busy world is hushed,
The fever of life is over
And our work is done.

Then, in your great mercy,
Grant us a safe lodging and a holy rest,
And peace at the last. Amen."

- Cardinal John Henry Newman 1801-1890.
