SCOTT, Donald Bruce - Passed away of cancer at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, on November 11, 2022, at the age of 77.
Born to the late James W.E. and Maudie A. Scott on March 2, 1945, in Kirkland Lake, ON.
Don attended the Gravenhurst Public and High Schools, and briefly attended Osler School of Nursing. His professional history included Toronto Dominion Bank in Gravenhurst (teller), worked for several different travel industry firms, Model/Actor (briefly Olsen Modelling Agency), retired from the Tourism industry with the Ontario Government in a data entry occupation.
In his spare time, Don enjoyed walking, gardening, and spending time with his cats.
Don will be sadly missed by his siblings, Robert J. Scott (Kirenia), and Ruth L. Scott; his nephew, Adam C. S. Bellamy; very best friend, Julie Sibbit (like family); as well as many cousins in Canada, the UK, and Australia.
Services were held at Cavill Funeral Home, Gravenhurst, on November 17, 2022.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cancer Society.
