JONES, E.F. Grace - November 21, 1927 – January 15, 2022
Grace passed away peacefully in her 95th year, to be reunited with her beloved late husband, John, and youngest son, Ian.
She was a treasured and much-loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Grace will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and will live on in our hearts.
Grace lived life with quiet, loving and thoughtful determination, dedicated to her family and others.
She was strong, resilient and brave.
Growing up in England, she taught for a short while and when married, managed the family plumbing business with alacrity. Upon arrival in Muskoka, Canada, in 1969, she started teaching again at elementary schools in Bracebridge and Gravenhurst.
In 1996, Grace and John retired to Barrie and enjoyed life, including travels to the U.K. and many other destinations, pursuing personal interests and spending time with family and friends.
Grace continued these pursuits after the death of John in 2005. In recent years, Grace lived at Amica, Little Lake in Barrie. Grace took joy from simple pleasures and loved her family with every ounce of her heart. She will be profoundly missed.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the excellent team on the third floor at Amica for their kind and compassionate care.
Cremation and funeral have already taken place.
