KEANE, John Paul - January 1, 1939 - January 17, 2023
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha John Paul Keane of King City, ON, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital on January 17, 2023, at the age of 84 years.
Born in Ballyroe, County Kerry, Ireland.
Predeceased by his parents, John and Nora Ann (Maguire) Keane; his two older brothers, Joseph and Anthony Michael (Helen) Keane; and brother-in-law, the late Gerald Brennan.
John will be greatly missed by his wife, Jean (McLaughlin); and daughters, Siobhain (Robert Bondy) and Tara (Brian Hunter). Beloved grandfather to Declan, Shane, Colin and Ty.
He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law, Marion Brennan; Joan and Jerome Murray; and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours.
Visitation will take place at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway S., Aurora, on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15347 Yonge St., Aurora, on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in John's memory to the Alzheimer Society of York Region or Ontario SPCA York Region Animal Centre would be appreciated.
