Watson WilliamWATSON, William Harold "Joe"   -   Joe was born September 25, 1932, and passed peacefully, on January 19, 2023, at Soldier's Memorial Hospital in Orillia.

Raised on Castlefield Avenue in Toronto, Joe graduated from Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute, and went on to complete a degree at the University of Western Ontario and a Chartered Accountant's designation.

Son of William and Helen Watson, predeceased by his sister, Jean; survived by his devoted wife, Carole (nee Ebeling); loving children, Kristen and Matthew; daughter-in-law, Erin; and grandchildren, Megan, Sadie and Sophie.

Joe was a passionately devoted, though often disappointed, Toronto sports fan who religiously followed the Maple Leafs and Blue Jays.

He was also an enthusiastic amateur historian and political observer, his self-published books about Canadian and American History were a source of pride.

A celebration of Joe's Life will be held in the spring.
