LUDLAM, Arthur Walker - 1923 - 2023 Peacefully, at home on February 1, 2023, in Kingston, Ontario.
At age 99, Arthur has gone on to his next big project. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer and Pamela; grandchildren, James (Sydney) and Mwenda; great-grandchildren, Rowan and Maeve; sister, Anne; and nephew, Robert.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Anne; parents, Stewart and Gwyneth; as well as his grandson, Iain.
A chemical engineer (University of Toronto, BASc, MASc), Arthur worked in the industry for twenty years and then taught high school chemistry at Central Tech in Toronto until retirement, after which he volunteered regularly.
He and Mary Anne were true creative partners throughout their marriage, collaborating on designing, building and enjoying the family cottage. Later, he was her right-hand man as she painted the beauty of Canada.
