CUTAJAR, Frank - Frank was one of a kind and will be missed dearly.
He was a devoted and fun-loving father who had an unforgettable way of bringing his creative ideas to life.
Frank died peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, in his 84th year with his family by his side.
After working in hospitality in Bermuda and Paris, Frank made his mark on the Toronto restaurant and nightclub scene in the 70s and 80s when he opened: Nuts & Bolts, The Cornucopia, The All Star Eatery, The Dilly Deli, The Back Room, Showbiz and Café Compare.
He was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
Frank will be lovingly remembered by his son, Jonathan, daughter-in-law, Mila, and their children, Michael and Mia; his daughter, Joanna, and her son, Sai; sisters and brothers, Joan Semenick (Danny), Mary Harvey (David), Phyllis Markle (Don) and Danny (Debbie); and sister-in-law, Andrea. He was predeceased by his parents, Philip and Ada Cutajar; his brothers, John and Ron; and sister-in-law, Pat.
A visitation will be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church, 2415 Rebecca St., Oakville, on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow.
