Keith MicheleKEITH, Michele Frances (nee BROPHY)  -  Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood, on Thursday, March 23, 2023, in her 81st year.

Predeceased by her husband, Bill, Michele will be remembered as the proud and loving mother of Jennifer (Mark), Dee Dee (Alex), Jill (Rick) and Bill (Erin).

Forever cherished Gramma of Alexander, Michael, Alison, Ashley, Madison, Abby, and Jeremy.

Michele will be sadly missed by sisters, Carol Collins and Diane Martin.

Dear sister-in-law to Helen and Greg Taylor, Nancy and Peter Case. Predeceased by sister, Shirley Pellkofer; brothers and sister-in-law, Joe Pellkofer, Jack Martin, John Keith and Barb Keith. She was beloved "Auntie Mike" to numerous nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in Collingwood, Mikey was a natural born athlete and fierce competitor. 45 consecutive years of competitive softball would prove to be just a warm up for her 30 plus years of golfing at The Blue Mountain Golf and Country Club.

After graduation from Collingwood Collegiate Institute in Collingwood, Michele would become an RNA, training at Toronto General Hospital, before doing a pediatric tour and placement at the Hospital For Sick Children, which was her true passion.

After retiring from nursing, Michele worked as a Dental Receptionist and Assistant for her dear friend, Dr. Jeff Rubenstein, in Thornhill, before returning home to Collingwood and becoming the friendly face behind the desk for Dr. Peter Kemp. Michele valued every moment spent laughing with family and friends, and her incredible sense of humour, generous spirit and compassion for others will be missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends will be received at the Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario St., Collingwood, on Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral service at the All Saints' Anglican Church, 32 Elgin St., in Collingwood, on Monday, March 27th at 10 a.m.  Spring interment First Presbyterian Cemetery, Collingwood.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Campbell House Hospice or SickKids Foundation would be appreciated.
