Passed away peacefully, in his 97th year, at Trillium Health Partners, Mississauga Hospital on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.
Beloved husband of the late Emily (2020) for 69 years.
Devoted father of Linda Marek (John), Nancy Law, Ken Kolarik (Deborah), and Cathy Relf (David). Predeceased by his son, Robert Kolarik (Lorri).
Loving grandfather of Bob Marek (Jen), Ron Marek (Angela), Stephanie Leonard, Kim Taksa (Adam), Erin Frankish, Steven Relf, Daniel Birks and David Birks; and proud great-grandfather of Ethan, Jaslyne, Peter, Brett, Chloe, Lucas, Liam, Tyson and Sunny.
Paul was born in Myjava, Czechoslovakia, to Paul and Anna Kolarik. Predeceased by his only sister, Anne Osadchuk.
He was much-loved and will be dearly missed by his large family and many friends. Paul enjoyed a long career at Shopsy's Foods and retired after 35 years.
Visitation to be held at Newediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Chapel, 2058 Kipling Ave., Etobicoke, on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 2-5 p.m. Funeral Service at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 2705 Islington Ave., Etobicoke, on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in church hall.
