Sharpe Miles LoisSHARPE-MILES, Lois Joan  -  It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lois Joan Sharpe-Miles, at the age of 68.

After a long and courageous battle with breast cancer, Lois passed peacefully, with her loving family by her side on January 31, 2024.

She will be remembered as a dedicated daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and a loyal, fun-loving friend to many.

She was born in Montreal, Quebec, before moving to Oakville, Ontario, in 1997 with her husband and daughter to continue her long career working for the Royal Bank.

She predeceases her mother, Joan Sharpe; and now joins her father, mother-in-law and grandmother in eternal love. She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Miles; and daughter, Erin Miles.

Dearly missed by her loving sisters and brothers, Carolyn (Gord) Dowbiggin, Brian (Carolyn) Sharpe, Shawn (Chantal) Sharpe, Patricia (Gervais) Sharpe, and Craig Sharpe; and her brother-in-law, Glen (Rhonda) Miles; along with many nieces and nephews, extended family, very close friends, and neighbours.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital, Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and Carpenter Hospice, as well everyone who visited and helped care for Lois in her compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

A service will be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville on February 24, 2024 at 1 p.m. with visitation starting at 12:00 p.m. Their will be a graveside service at a later date in Montreal to be determined.
