ONTARIO

Smiling woman outdoors with short blonde hairSOMERSET, Kerry  -  Our Fallen Angel Kerry Somerset left our beautiful blue orb on July 31, 2024.

She'd recently celebrated her 55th birthday and had been getting ready for the next chapter of life, supported by a very positive team of doctors and nurses, that helped her through her cancer treatments.

Kerry touched the lives of hundreds of people and will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Married to Todd Frith for 31 years, the two young lovebirds raised three wonderful children, Mackenzie, Elliott, and Carter.

The daughter of Susan and (the late) John Somerset, she leaves behind her sister, Jill; brother-in-law, Greg Canning; her "little" brother, Jay; and her wonderful nieces and nephews. Kerry was a mother, lover, friend, teacher, athlete, coach, camper, and tireless volunteer.

A remembrance gathering will be held on the afternoon of September 7th at St. Johns's Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium, 737 Dundas St. E., Mississauga.

Preceding the Celebration of Life, the family will receive Kerry's guests, starting at 1 p.m. Additional details will be posted in the Facebook group, Remembering Kerry Somerset, next week.

We welcome anyone who has been impacted by Kerry to join us in celebrating her legacy.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, we encourage you to support a new scholarship that is being formally set-up in her name, that will support families and youth with special needs, in perpetuity.

Additional details about contributing to that scholarship, will be posted on the FB page, in the next week.
