It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Leo Crausen, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished Opa, and proud great-grandfather. After a long and courageous journey with dementia, Leo passed away peacefully, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family.
Born in the Netherlands, Leo immigrated to Canada as a young boy with his parents, five brothers, and two sisters. Together, they embraced a new life filled with courage, resilience, and hope. Those early experiences shaped the kind, hard-working, and generous man Leo became.
Leo was the beloved husband of Margaret Warren-Crausen, a dedicated father to Lisa (Reg) and Christina Crausen, and a proud Opa to his grandchildren Kelly, Brandon (Bethany), Nicolas, Sarah, Madisyn, and Jacob. He was also a great-grandfather to Tatum, Rowan, and Renley (to be born), each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
A man of quiet strength and deep compassion, Leo touched the lives of all who knew him. His gentle humour, wisdom, and unwavering support will be remembered always.
Leo’s final care has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville where a visitation will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 12:30pm until time of service at 1:30pm in the funeral home chapel. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Beth on April 8, 2025. Beth was a strong, kind, and resilient woman, loved by those fortunate enough to have known her. She had a passion for nature and travel, enjoying day trips, new destinations, and adventures both close to home and abroad.
Beth had an uncanny ability to ground those around her whose worlds were seemingly spinning out of control. Later in life, Beth found love again with her husband, Gregg, and together they moved to Renfrew to start a new chapter closer to family.
Beth is survived by her loving husband, Gregg MacKenzie; her daughters Lindsay (Ryan) Monaghan and Jessica (Kelvin) Ware; and her beloved grandchildren Sydney, Jason, Slayde, Huxley, and princess Kahlani. She is also survived by her brother Kirk (late Allie) Ferguson, her niece Danielle, her great-niece Charlotte, her sister Elaine (Neil) McKellar, her nephew Ben, and niece Katie.
Predeceased by her parents, Harry & Anne Ferguson (nee Dahl) and her sister-in-law Allie Ferguson. Beth will be deeply missed by cousins, friends, and extended family alike.

Wayne enjoyed quality family time at the trailer and being out in the bush. He was known for his love of hunting and passion for his work. He cherished the camaraderie and friendship of the hunting gang; Bruce and Dale Prendergast, Steve, Doug, and Matthew Brash, Daryl and Shannon Leech, Chris Faught and especially his daughter Samantha.
He was predeceased by his parents, James and Doreen Paquette, his stepfather, Frank Lisk, his brother, Arthur Paquette, and his nephew, Richard Brennan, and is survived by his sister, Sandra (Billy Brennan) and nephew, Jamie Brennan. He is also survived by his brother, Mike (Rikki) Paquette, his nieces, Gretchen and Gracie, and his sister Heather Paquette. Wayne was, and always will be, deeply loved.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Tony Fernandes on April 16th, 2025 at the Madawaska Valley Hospice at the age of 78. He was a loving husband to Francisca, a cherished father to Ryan (Venus) and Jean-Pierre, adored grandfather to Noah, Elijah, Isaiah, and Mykah, and dear brother to Peter and Yolando.
Tony’s career as a graphic designer led him from India to Kuwait and finally to Canada where he ended his career having built a successful print and graphic company. He lived a life defined by his love for family, enriched by laughter, travels to Goa, peaceful moments at a lake fishing, cheering on soccer games, and delighting in a good meal.
His family finds comfort knowing his deep devotion to Our Lady of Perpetual Help has led him to the arms of our Heavenly Father, embraced by our Lord Jesus and sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Francis Memorial Hospital and the staff and volunteers at Madawaska Valley Hospice in Barry’s Bay for the compassionate care of Tony.
Visitation will be held at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 9:30 am – 10:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Cormac at 11:30 am followed by interment in the parish cemetery. Reception will take place at St. James the Less parish hall, Eganville following the burial. He was also a friend and brother-in-law to Leslie Jones.
Ron was predeceased by his loving parents, May and George, and his brother, Stephen.
Born in Manchester, England, Ron met Valerie, and they married in 1967. He had a successful career managing numerous retail stores (both in England and Canada), where he was loved and respected by all. Ron was known for his optimism, positivity, fun nature, and immense love for his family. He made everyone laugh and smile and was someone his family could always depend on. He will be missed and cherished in their hearts forever.
The family wishes to thank all his caregivers and the staff at Granite Ridge Care Community (both in Garden and Orchard Houses) for their love and support during his time there.
