Banerjee Parbati PrasadBANERJEE, Parbati 'Prasad' - Parbati 'Prasad' Banerjee passed away peacefully on Saturday January 2, 2021 surrounded by family at Lakeridge Oshawa Health Centre.

He was born on October 15, 1930 in Purulia, West Bengal, India.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years Asha and loving son Tapas (Kelly). He will be forever missed by his cherished granddaughter Isha. He is predeceased by his son Amit and siblings; Banmala Ghatak, Sabitri Chatterjee and Shankar Prasad Banerjee whom he loved dearly.

Prasad was deeply dedicated to his Hindu Faith and tireless service to the Bengali Community. He will be fondly remembered for his commitment to his work as a Multifaith Chaplin at Ajax Pickering Hospital and Ontario Shores Mental Health Centre. He was fulfilled by his work preforming marriages, funerals and providing various religious and spiritual support to the community.

Arrangements entrusted with Ogden funeral home, Scarborough. Although we know he touched many lives, due to COVID-19 restrictions his funeral service will be private. In the future when conditions permit, a celebration of life will be held when all who loved him may attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Lakeridge Ajax-Pickering Hospital Foundation, Ontario Shores Mental Health Centre, or Toronto Kalibari would be greatly appreciated.
