PARKER, Wayne  -
November 20, 1940 to July 11, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Robert Parker at his home on July 11, 2024.

Wayne had fond memories of growing up in Barrie, Ontario.

He met Anne (predeceased), the love of his life at 18 years old, and they were married 63 years.

Wayne will be greatly missed by his daughters, Kathleen, Lori (David) and Sandy (John); by his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Heather (Nat), Jenny, Jamie (Marnie) and Tom (Danielle); and also by his sister-in-law, Pat (Jim). Wayne was at heart a carpenter, the consummate handyman.

Happiest with a project on the go - from building his own cottage, to making furniture - Wayne loved spending time in his workshop.

A gentleman, avid reader, helpful neighbour - a family man.

Wayne will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. At a later date, Wayne will be interred at the Aurora cemetery in a private family service.

The family requests no flowers.
