Hoag PaulineHOAG, Pauline Katherine - (1971 - 2020) - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Pauline Katherine Hoag on January 1, 2021.

Over the past several years she has had a tough battle with breast cancer. Her family and friends gave her courage, strength and some calm during her difficult times. Now she is at peace.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Ian and daughters Jordyn and Hailey, nephew Devin Jones as well as her 3 cats Smartie, Oreo, Reese’s and her many, many friends.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to The Brampton Civic Hospital Oncology Unit, Heart House, Daycare ladies, softball teams and everyone who knew and loved her, laughed and cried with her and shared special moments with her throughout her life.

She will always be in our hearts and minds. She will never be forgotten.

Pauline was a truly special woman with many interests and passions. She loved Softball and was a member of the Mississauga Ladies Slo pitch League. She was active with PCT Cobras Cheerleading, Caledon Coyotes Girls Hockey Club, she adored Disney and her favourite character was Piglet. Pauline enjoyed Crochet and music, especially Bon Jovi.

In lieu of flowers, in loving memory of Pauline, donations to Pauline’s Team – “Breast Intentions” of the CIBC Run for the Cure would be appreciated by the family.

In light of the current global pandemic with the present restrictions placed on group gatherings by the government, attendance at the funeral home has been restricted to a maximum capacity of 10 people. Planning is underway for a larger Celebration of Life to be held when it is safe to do so. As a result, the visitation and funeral service will be by invitation/reservation only and in compliance with government restrictions. Please contact Scott Funeral Home, Brampton Chapel, 905-451-1100 for availability.

For the health and well-being of everyone, we respectfully request that attendees at the funeral home comply with current Brampton by-laws by observing social and physical distancing and wearing masks at all times.

For those unable to attend the funeral home, the Funeral Service for Pauline will be live streamed, commencing at 1:00 pm on Saturday January 9th. Please copy the link below into your address bar.
