MIKOLA, Pela - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Pela Mikola, at the age of 83, after a brief illness at Scarborough Centenary Hospital.
She was a sweet ray of sunshine. Her kind, bright, gentle, and cheerful soul touched the hearts of everyone she met.
She enjoyed spending numerous winters in Florida over the years and was also known to enjoy just sitting and relaxing, listening to some good, old country music songs, while always singing along.
Loving wife to Ludvik (predeceased) for 60 years. Proud, loving mother to David (Sue, predeceased) and Diane. Sister to Adola, Stella, Mary, and their families. Grandmother to Matthew (Sherine) and Sarah. Great-grandmother to Noah, Ava, and Olivia. Step-great-grandmother to Jada.
At the request of the family, private arrangements have been made.
In lieu of flowers, for those that wish, donations in memory of Pela may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Pela will be deeply missed by all of her family and many friends. Forever loved and always in our hearts.
